IN STORE PURCHASES
All instore purchases can be fully refunded at any of our stores or exchanged in the store that stocks the uniform for the specific school.
Before you set off from home to make an exchange, please check your school page on our website to confirm which store stocks your school uniform.
Online Orders can be returned to us by using one of the following methods:
Please ensure that your package contains a completed ONLINE RETURNS DOCKET or we will be unable to trace your order and issue a refund.
We offer a FREE RETURNS service via the DPD network.
Please note we do not offer exchanges online. You can send your unwanted items back for a refund and a new order can be placed online.
Simply call in store with a completed online returns docket and our friendly staff will gladly assist you. Our online returns docket is available here.
Refunds can be processed in any store but exchanges can only be made in the store at which your school uniform is stocked.
Please check your school page on our website to confirm which store stocks your school uniform.
By Post to
The Schoolwear House, Roshine Road, Killybegs, Co. Donegal F94 HN99.
You can return your items to us by post or other courier service but the cost of this is at your expense.
If using an alternative returns method please ensure that your package contains a completed ONLINE RETURNS DOCKET or we will be unable to trace your order and issue a refund.
We strongly recommend that you use a recorded delivery service as we cannot be held responsible for goods not received.
USING OUR FREE RETURNS SERVICE via DPD
Follow the 4 simple steps and drop your parcel into any one of almost 600 DPD Pickup points nationwide.
Your parcel will then be returned to us and you will have full tracking throughout the delivery journey.
Please include a copy of your Return Form in all returned packages, without a copy of this form we will be unable to trace the returned items to you and will be unable to process a refund.
OUR RETURNS POLICY
We ask that items are returned in original packaging with labels attached. If for whatever reason you wish to return an item, we ask that you do so within 60 days of purchase. Returns made within 14 days will be fully refunded (by the method used to pay for the original transaction). Returns made after 14 days will be issued as a credit note against future purchases online or in-store. Returns outside the 60 day period will be at the discretion of THE SCHOOLWEAR HOUSE.
The following items are excluded from this returns policy:
1. Socks & tights removed from packaging
2. Base layer shorts & undergarments
3. Swimwear without the protective gusset lining
4. Special orders to include items personalised with initials or names and name tags
5. Hair Accessories
6. Water Bottles
7. Face Masks & mouthguards
This returns policy does not affect your statutory rights.
For items sent incorrectly against your order please email our customer services on firstname.lastname@example.org or return it and we will send you the correct one. We will organise a collection of this item, alternatively we will refund additional delivery cost.
If you believe that the goods you have bought are faulty, please email our customer services team on email@example.com
Items should be returned within the first 4 months of purchase and will be inspected.
If the item(s) are considered to be faulty due to a manufacturer fault, the items will be replaced like-for-like or a refund will be given at the purchase price.
We will need to see the fault in order to proceed with a refund, so you may be asked to take the item to a store or to send a photo if this is not convenient.
Items over 6 months old will be dealt with at the discretion of The Schoolwear House.
Please note all worn items must be laundered prior to returning.
Please obtain a receipt of carriage as returns remain your responsibility until they reach us.
